10/25/17 TWN – Crazy 8s!!!

10/25/17 TWN – Crazy 8s!!!
Calendar says it’s October, but the weather disagrees. Maybe the temperature will actually drop a little as forecast, but don’t count on it. Fortunately Lucky Road/Lucky Foot is sponsoring a SAG, so we should be able to handle whatever fate has in store for us! Also, if you do not have a headlamp or reflective gear, perhaps you should check out the options at Lucky Road. Just because the temperatures don’t feel like fall, doesn’t mean that the sun isn’t setting earlier every day. Please be careful.

TWN — 9/27/17 3.5/6/8

I said I’d never  make a route go by Meadow and Cary. Apparently I lied. On the bright side, we have a SAG tonight provided by Andrew and Family on Grove! Remember to thank them!

Please view the maps. The visual makes more sense than the words. Also please remember your lights and reflective vests!

TWN – JULY 19, 2017 3/5/6

I’m late. I’m late for a very important date. Sorry for the tardiness of the post. I’ll do better next time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDO5ea8MwgY

It’s hot. It’s July. Who would have thought. Someone Should have warned us. I swear I wrote this last year. I did. I copied and pasted.

This week Novices do 5, Intermediates do 6, and of course we have a 3. We are still looking for some volunteers to provide/man SAGs as we get into the hottest days and longer mileage this summer. Please see a coordinator if you’d like to help out.

TWN Routes for 10/26/16

Good news!! Lucky Foot/Lucky Road is providing our SAG this week. Thank you Lucky Road! Bad news: we have to get to Lucky Foot/Lucky Road and the sun will set as we leave the church. Please wear reflective gear and a light. We will cross Monument twice after dark – not to mention Grove, Patterson, etc. Please wear reflective gear and a light. Also it’s a good idea to double check the route.

TWN – JULY 20, 2016 3/5/6

It’s hot. It’s July. Who would have thought. Someone Should have warned us. On the brightside, Mid 80’s should seem like a welcome respite at this point.

Some news to share! First Baptist Church has officially given us permission to start using their water spigot, although it is a different one than we have used in the past. So enjoy some water, guilt-free. The spigot is located on the Boulevard side of the church, about halfway down. If you’d like to donate to the church to cover the cost, you can give online at https://e-giving.org/egivinglogin.asp?id=1375

This week Novices bump up to 5, Intermedidiate sticks with 6, and of course we have a 3. We are still looking for some volunteers to provide/man SAGs as we get into the hottest days and longer mileage this summer. Please see a coordinator if you’d like to help out.
