Stadium Run – 7/11/18

Instead of our usual run and meeting spot, we’ll be running from Sportsbackers Stadium this week to celebrate Don Garber’s years of service with the Richmond running community. Here’s the details –

If you’ve been a part of the running community in RVA, chances are you’ve gotten to know Don Garber. Sixteen years ago he helped us start the Sports Backers Marathon Training Team. In 2002, MTT launched with 169 runners and coaches and with the care, love and dedication of our volunteers, and Don at the helm, it has grown into the family it is today. Help us thank Don for giving so much to the running community by joining us for a group run and refreshments! Meet us at Sports Backers Stadium on July 11th at 6pm. We will have routes prepared with a 6-mile and 4-mile option, and then we’ll celebrate! All are welcome!

Welcome back MTT’rs! If this is your first run with our group, we’re glad to have you. Throughout MTT season, we’ll have routes that follow both the novice and intermediate schedules, and we’ll also have a 3 mile route throughout the season for those who are training for the half or who are just out for a run.
